Alejandro Suárez Sánchez-Ocaña
is an entrepreneur and a private investor specialized in new technologies, vice president of the AIEI (Association of Investors and Entrepreneurs Internet), CEO of Ocio Networks and Lazer Rede in Brazil, president of Inversora Foley , partner and adviser of Gestiona Radio, Club Santa Monica, Smarty Content, Genotest, Yes.fm and 2B Black-Bio, among others.

Since he founded his first company in 1998 he has participated as a business angel and advisor to venture capital funds in all major industrial sectors, creating new companies around the Internet world, biotechnology, catering business and media. His entrepreneurial activity has been relentless in number of projects and business areas, actively participating as a member of the business angels network in Madrid+D. Today is one of the mentors of the project Wayra to support entrepreneurs promoted by Telefónica.

He collaborates in articles for the national media such as Cinco Días, La Gaceta de los Negocios, Diario de Navarra, and in South America for Revista Globo (Brazil), La Razón (Mexico), El Mundo (Venezuela) and El Cronista (Argentina ), addressing issues in technology, innovation, management and entrepreneurship. He also writes the blog “Hay un gurú en mi sopa” at ElMundo.es and “Sumando ideas” at Eleconomista.com and takes part in conferences via Thinking Heads.

He is the author of “Ha Llegado La Hora De Montar Tu Empresa” (Deusto, 2010), a reference manual for entrepreneurship that has been published in six editions and has become a reference for those who want to start their own business.
